For calendar 2008, the following volume of recyclables were collected:
- 380.08 tons of paper
- 1396.42 tons of cardboard
- 73.15 tons of aluminum or tin
- 80.48 tons of plastic
- 672.57 tons of newspaper
- Revenue from recycled products totaled $143,785.15.
- In addition to cleanups hosted or coordinated by civic groups and municipalities, the County held 13 Community Cleanups in 2008 and 2 Countywide free disposal days.
