The digitized photographs and documents found
on the McFarland website have been made available online for private study and
widespread use by professionals in the library, museum, and archival communities
and for the citizens of Arizona and the world. If you wish to publish or
reproduce the materials in digital or physical form or use them for purely
commercial purposes, including web page use, you must obtain prior written
permission from the McFarland Library & Archives, PO Box 109, Florence, AZ 85132,
520-868-5216.
The Copyright Law of the United States
(Title 17, United States Code) governs the reproduction of copyrighted material.
One of the conditions of the law is that reproductions are not to be "used for
any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes
a request for, and later uses, a reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair
use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. The McFarland Library
& Archives reserves the right to refuse to accept a reproduction request if, in
its judgment, fulfillment of the request would involve violation of copyright
laws.
