Records Personnel are responsible for maintaining computerized and non-computerized paper files, electronic files, sex offender registration and assist with verification of address validation, front office reception, request for copies of reports, photographs, 911 CD’s, citizens requesting to be fingerprinted, bookkeeping of collection of monies received for all service. Provide INS clearance letters for: adoption, emergency court appointed custodial hearing, process applicant cards for PCSO employers as well as Superior Court & MIS employees. Our unit also maintains a yearly amount of 22,000 arrest bookings for both PCSO and other Law Enforcement agencies to ensure they are correctly classified based on the booking sheet, fingerprint cards, arrest disposition, and Spillman. In turn this information is correctly reflected on the “RAP” sheet which offers community and Officer Safety.

Provide Statistical request from News Media, Real Estate Companies, Government and Local organizations that assist and provide grant monies to their cities (DV, Adelanto Juntos). Please provide a 24-48 courtesy notice. There may be fees applied for Statistical reports.

Sex Offender Registration and fingerprinting are on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 0830-3:30. Fingerprinting is done at the jail, therefore Detention requires a dress code: no shorts, tank tops, flip-flops. Sex Offender’s may email their email account address to SOR@pinalcountyaz.gov.

Inquiries and status of incident report’s from both the public and other government agencies are to be reverted to either the Secretary of the Region Office of jurisdiction of occurrence or the Records Unit.

The Records Unit must have all request in writing, monies must be received prior to dissemination of the report, reports can not be requested over the phone.

The Records Unit Consist of five (5) support staff of two (2) Supervisor’s, 3 Admin Clerk II’s , duties are split between staff to further assist and expedite service as well as completion of the work, duties are split between staff.
