Region 1 covers the Casa Grande, Eloy, Picacho, Red Rock, Arizona City, Stanfield, Hidden Valley and Maricopa areas; a population of about 40,000. The region has assigned 40 sworn personnel and 3 support staff.

Region 1 has first responder responsibility for the western portion of Pinal County. Within this area of responsibility are both high density population and rural areas. The region enjoys great working relationship with City, State, Tribal and Federal agencies since there are over 10 jurisdictions the region works with daily.

Region 1 maintains a proactive approach on dealing with issues and does a great deal of work with the allocated resources. Personnel working within the region experience diverse calls and two area interstates equal a transient and fast-growing population.

Region 1 Regional Headquarters is located at 820 E. Cottonwood Lane, Casa Grande and is headed by Lt. Harry Grizzle.
