FLORENCE, Ariz. – The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has received a generous donation from the man who’s responsible for developing Johnson Ranch.
George Johnson recently presented PCSO Chief Deputy Steve Henry with the check for $13,125.00 to help support dozens of families in Pinal County this holiday season.
Johnson has supported the annual holiday toy drive in the past but said he wanted to do more this year.
Working with the PCSO Adopt a Family effort, Johnson decided to sponsor 25 families this year which will provide much needed food and clothing for up to three children and two adults per family.
Chief Deputy Henry stated,
“We’ve been looking for ways to expand this project throughout Pinal County and Mr. Johnson’s generous donation will ensure dozens of families won’t go hungry or be left in the cold. I sincerely thank him on behalf of the entire Sheriff’s Office and hope this gift will encourage others to follow his lead.” Anyone wishing to sponsor a family this holiday, or would like to apply for help is encouraged to contact PCSO Lt. Tammy Villar at (520) 866-5199.
