I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the LIDAR Training Course your department graciously coordinated and executed for the Casa Grande Border Patrol Station.

Recently our station purchase new laser radar detectors for field use and our Field Operations Supervisors needed training to learn how to calibrate and operate the detectors. Sergeant Vern Havens with AZ DPS recommended Deputy Ryan Pass for our training need.

On Tuesday, February 17, 2009, Deputy Pass trained our team at your location in Florence. Deputy Pass accommodated our training request in a timely manner and my team was thrilled with the results. Deputy Pass not only met, but exceeded our expectations with the training. He is very professional, knowledgeable, demonstrates a strong leadership style, and I feel is an asset to your department.

I appreciate the partnership your department has extended to the Casa Grande Border Patrol Station and your willingness to facilitate our training request.
