The Name Search allows you to search through the Recorder's records by the name
of a person or business. As an optional parameter, you may also provide a document
type to further refine the list of returns. The more general your search criteria
the more records will be returned and vice versa.

Every recorded document is assigned a Fee Number*. You may search for any particular
document by giving the full Fee Number below, or provide a partial Number to return
a range of documents.

A Fee Number is based on the year and order it was recorded
(i.e.: 2002-060511 means the document was recorded in the year 2002, and was the
60,511th document of that year).
The Number portion always starts with a six(6) digit number. However, on occasion
the number may contain a 7th character (a letter A - Z) signifying the document
was later updated, amended, or for any other reason re-recorded.
