Keeping You Informed

Pinal County has 5,386 square miles with only 26% being privately owned. By year end 2011, there were 1,019.63 miles of paved roads and 1,039.35 miles of gravel roads being maintained by Pinal County Public Works. That is a total of 2058.96 miles of road that are maintained. There are many private roads throughout the county however that the department does not maintain.

Public Works strives to keep the citizens of Pinal County informed of the latest construction news. Please feel free to download the latest News Release regarding road construction and closures.

Construction project updates are subject to change and will be updated as quickly as possible. Road closure information can be obtained at this site as well as through our Road Closure Hotline (520) 866-6078 or by visiting the Arizona Emergency Information Network website.
