US 60 (east and westbound lanes) Speed limit reduced to 55 mph from Gold Canyon to east of Peralta Road.
 
Project Background:
The Peralta Trails community requested relief from traffic congestion at the intersection of Peralta Road and US 60. ADOT has actively worked with the community to develop solutions to their concerns.
A traffic study began in Summer 2007 and improvements began in Fall 2008 by extending the left-hand turn lane to increase the capacity and improve the flow of traffic through the intersection.

 
Project Description:
Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) installed a new traffic signal at the intersection of Peralta Road and US 60. The construction of the traffic signal was partially funded by both ADOT and Pinal County. The traffic signal has been activated and will help maximize the efficiency of traffic flow through the intersection and improve safety. ADOT will continue to maintain the intersection.
