Liz Martin has been a resident of Pinal county for 26 years, residing near Queen Creek. Raised in Wisconsin. Received BA at Lawrence University (1969), PhD (1974) Experimental Psychology at University of Arizona. She served as a behavioral scientist for the US Air Force Research Laboratory for 31 years. In this capacity, she was responsible for developing and managing numerous research programs aimed at improving pilot training and combat readiness. At the time of retirement, she was head of the USAF’s Center of Excellence for Night Operations. Hobbies include hiking, physical fitness and water activities (sailing, rowing, kayaking), reading, and traveling. Volunteer activities include feral cat spay/neutering programs, youth mentoring, and scientific article reviews.
