HIDDEN VALLEY- Pinal County Department of Public Works is advising residents in the Hidden Valley area that placement of an Asphalt and Dust Rock Palliative (ADRP) on Hidden Valley Road and Farrell Road has been postponed until summer of 2010.

The placement of the ADRP was scheduled to occur this summer on Farrell Road between Warren Road and Hidden Valley Road and on Hidden Valley Road between Farrell Road and McDavid Road. Due to delays in Maricopa's planned annexation of certain land in the area, the project has been delayed.

However, construction on drainage realignment and utility relocations will continue through the end of this year. Regularly scheduled grader maintenance will continue until the ARDP treatment is complete.

The long-term purpose of the construction project is to apply a road surface which will keep the dust down in the area. The roadways will be improved to Pinal County’s Uniform Roadway Standards.
