FLORENCE – Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett paid a brief visit to Pinal County on Monday afternoon.  Secretary Bennett was on hand to award election officer certificates to Pinal County employees who have attended and passed classes regarding election laws and processes in the State of Arizona.

Employees either took a two-day recertification or a one-week certification class conducted by the Secretary of State’s Office.  The certification allows the employees to work as election officers in the upcoming primary, general and any special election.
