Trap-Neuter-Return and Cat Colony Management Workshop

FLORENCE – Pinal County Animal Care and Control along with “Team T-N-R” (a program of the Pets In Need Action League) will be presenting a free workshop regarding feral cat colony management.

The title of the workshop is “Trap-Neuter-Return and Cat Colony Management.” It will take place on Wednesday, October 16, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the Central Arizona Vocational Institute of Technology Coolidge Campus located at 1978 West Coolidge Avenue.

“This is a great introduction to the trapping, neutering and returning process for anyone who has a feral cat colony nearby,” said Animal Care and Control Director Kaye Dickson. “We are developing a five-year plan to become a no-kill shelter, to help accomplish this goal we will need to adopt a viable trap-neuter-return strategy.”

Pet’s In Need Action League requests that participants consider bringing a bag of cat or dog food to donate to their pet food bank.
