Bradley Michael Soos was born and raised in Calumet City, Illinois, a south suburb
of Chicago. He enrolled at Arizona State University in 1982 and earned a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in 1986, graduating Cum Laude. He attended the Valparaiso University
School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor degree in 1989. While attending Valparaiso
University he served as a note editor for the Valparaiso University Law Review and
wrote an article that was published in 1988. He was admitted to practice law in
Arizona in 1989 and in Federal Court in 1990. He worked in private practice until
1990, when he joined the Pinal County Attorneys Office. As a prosecutor, he tried
many difficult and complex cases and was the Pinal County nominee for Arizona Prosecutor
of the Year in 1996 and 1999. In December, 2006 he was selected by a group of Pinal
County citizens and appointed by the Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice to serve
as full time Judge Pro Tempore of the Pinal County Superior Court. He has been a
Pinal County resident since 2004. He and his wife Amy have been married since 1993
and have one son, Braden Walker.
