Karl Eppich was appointed to the Pinal County Superior Court bench in 2014, after serving as a Mesa Municipal Court judge for thirteen years. He previously served as a staff attorney with the Arizona Court of Appeals and as a judge pro tem with the Phoenix and Tempe municipal courts. He had been employed as a Deputy Apache County Attorney in St. Johns, and as a litigation associate with Mangum, Wall, Stoops and Warden in Flagstaff. He began his legal career as a litigation associate with Lewis and Roca in Phoenix. Prior to completing his education, he served in the U.S. Army.
He is a graduate of Stanford Law School and completed his undergraduate education at the University of California at Irvine. He has served as a faulty member and mentor for the Arizona Judicial College and on the Arizona Judicial Ethics Advisory Committee. He has also served on the State Bar Professionalism, Appointments and Criminal Practice and Procedure committees. He is married with three children.
