Edward Braunger
Edward Braunger was appointed to the Pinal County Audit Committee in September, 2008. He is the General Manager of Apache Greyhound Park and currently resides in Gold Canyon, AZ. He has served on many governing boards over the years, and especially enjoys the work and accomplishments he has achieved serving on non-profit and local government boards.
His current board and committee appointments include the Apache Junction Main Street Board, Apache Junction Community Development Corporation Board, Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce Board, American Track Owners Assn. Board of Directors, American Greyhound Council, East Valley Boys and Girls Club (Apache Junction Branch), Pinal County Transportation Board, Superstition Foothills HOA Board-Treasurer, and the Pinal County Citizens Advisory Committee. In addition, Mr. Braunger has received numerous awards over the years, including Pinal County Community Volunteer Award, Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce “Partners in Progress” Award, and the Apache Junction Parks & Recreation Community Service Award, among others.
Roger Kolman
Roger Kolman, Chairman, was appointed to the Pinal County Audit Committee in September, 2008. Mr. Kolman resides in Maricopa, AZ. He is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Eastern Montana College in 1991.
Mr. Kolman is the current Assistant City Manager for the City of Maricopa, AZ. His professional background includes extensive experience in government accounting and auditing, including positions with the City of Chandler, AZ and several public accounting firms. He is a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), GFOA (Government Finance Officers Association) and the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the GFOA - Arizona chapter, participates in the Arizona League of Cities and Towns Legislative Review Committee, and is a coach for the City of Maricopa Youth Sports.
Brian Wright
Brian Wright was appointed to the Pinal County Audit Committee in March, 2010. Brian is currently the Finance Director for the City of Eloy, AZ and previously held positions as the Finance Director for Page, AZ and the Finance Officer for the City of Wilcox, AZ. Brian received his Bachelors degree in Finance, with a minor in Accounting, from Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Brian is an accomplished government financial professional. His current and previous professional experience includes directing and overseeing numerous and varied municipal accounting and budgeting activities. Brian is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association and serves on the Board of the Arizona Government Finance Officers Association. He is also a member of the Mesa State Alumni Association. He currently resides in Casa Grande, AZ.
