The Board of Supervisors of Pinal County, Arizona (the "County"), will hold a public
hearing regarding a loan (the "GADA Loan") from the Greater Arizona Development
Authority to the County, to be secured by a pledge of the County's share of certain
State shared transaction privilege (sales) and excise taxes, to finance:
- Long Term Care Building Expansion, and
- Animal Care Building Expansion.
The hearing will be held at 9:30 a.m., Mountain Standard Time on February 6, 2008,
at the Board of Supervisors Conference Room, 1st Floor, 31 N. Pinal, Bldg. A, Florence,
Arizona 85232.
The GADA Loan is estimated to be in the principal amount of not to exceed $4,495,000
and, with total estimated interest of $1,214,909.06, to have a total financing cost
of $5,709,909.06.
The Board of Supervisors of the County (the "Board") will receive oral comments
at the hearing and will receive written comments at any time before adopting the
resolution of intention with respect to the GADA Loan which will be considered no
earlier than February 21, 2008 (the "Resolution").
