Florence, AZ - The Pinal County Superior Court on Thursday, July 12, 2012, sentenced Robert Guy Jr. to 24 years in prison followed by lifetime probation for crimes against a 14-year-old girl and a 12 year-old girl.

“I am satisfied with the conclusion of this case. These were horrible crimes committed against children,” said James P. Walsh, Pinal County Attorney.

Guy, 36, plead guilty to child molestation and attempted child molestation. He must serve all 24 years of his sentence and will also be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, after his release from prison.

Pinal County Deputy County Attorney Matthew Long prosecuted the case.

Guy was sentenced by Honorable Judge Hank Gooday, Pinal County Superior Court.
