Victim Compensation
Arizona provides financial assistance to crime victims through the Crime Victim Compensation Program. The County Attorney’s office in each county is responsible for administering the program and processing claims. The Crime Victim Compensation Program is a payer of last resort and is funded by offenders as part of criminal fine payments and sanctions.

If you have been the victim of a crime in Pinal County, reported it to the police and were physically injured or suffer severe mental distress as the direct result of a crime, or a member of your family was killed as a result of a crime, you may be eligible for compensation for your financial losses.

Eligible losses directly related to the crime may include medical expenses, mental health expenses, lost wages, loss of support to dependants, funeral expenses and crime scene clean-up for homicide cases.
