Dolores J. "Dodie" Doolittle began her career in Florence with the Central Arizona Association of Governments (CAAG), and the Community Action Agency (CAHRA) as well as First Interstate Bank prior to accepting a position with retired Pinal County Treasurer Jim L. Turnbull in 1991. Ms. Doolittle served in the administrative capacity including Chief Deputy Treasurer prior to her appointment as Treasurer by the Pinal County Board of Supervisors in January 2004. She was then elected to the position in that same year.
A graduate from Maricopa High School and Arizona State University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Ms. Doolittle continued her education, receiving a Certificate in Public Policy and Management from the University of Arizona, a Chancellor’s Certificate in Public Administration: Government Finance Officer from the University of Missouri and completed Franklin Covey’s: 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Ms. Doolittle currently serves as President of the Arizona Association of Counties and serves on the East Valley Boys and Girls Club of Apache Junction Auxiliary Board. Memberships include: Chambers of Commerce, Florence Rotary Club, Arizona Association of County Treasurers, the Government Finance Officers Association, National Association of Counties and the National Association of County Collectors, Treasurers and Finance Officers.
Ms. Doolittle and her husband Terry currently reside in Gold Canyon.
