 Department Description

The Finance Department provides services to County taxpayers by assuring that the financial policies of the County conform to all laws and regulations and that all financial resources are controlled, recorded and reported. Areas of operation include payroll, payments to vendors (accounts payable), cash collections, asset inventory and control, and all financial reporting. Compliance monitoring is done in all financial areas to conform County operations to existing Federal regulations and State of Arizona statutes. The Finance Department also provides input on and compliance monitoring of all Board of Supervisors' financial policies.

 Mission Statement

The mission of the Finance Department is to provide procurement, payment and financial reporting services to Pinal County management and departments so employees can have the goods they need to provide services and management can have the information they need to make informed decisions.
