Elected in 2012 and taking his oath of office in January 2013, Todd House represents the Apache Junction and Gold Canyon region of Pinal County. The District 5 Supervisor completes the newly formed five-member Board of Supervisors. In 2014, his fellow supervisors elected him to serve as Board Vice Chairman.
An avid lover of the outdoors, House is interested in preserving our parks, trails and open space for future generations. Connected parks and trails that can be enjoyed on horseback or on foot are a valuable asset contributing to the quality of life residents enjoy.
House serves his community in many ways, most notably as Chairman of the Board of the Apache Junction Fire District and as Chairman of the Superstition Mountain Base Coalition. House is currently the Treasurer of Paws 4 Life, a non-profit organization serving the community through pets, service dogs, and volunteers. He was previously the Kiwanis Club President and President of the Superstition Mountain Republican Club.
Prior to entering government service, House worked in the electrical field for 29 years, most recently for Allied Group Sales.
Originally hailing from California, the House family adopted Arizona as their new home state in 2000. House and his wife, Tuni, have one daughter, Nicole. In his spare time, House enjoys golf, gardening and coin collecting. Todd and his wife have had 16 foreign exchange students over the years and enjoy sharing their cultures and have had the pleasure of visiting them in their native countries.
